So, you've retrieved your dodgy audio CD from the drive ... now to re-assemble.

Maybe before you do, replace the PRAM cell seeing as these machines are at least 20 years old: apparently it's a Lithium 3.6V half-AA.

Relatively straight forward. Obviously remember to protect the LCD screen with a thick towel and/or cardboard.

Used my iFixIt Manta Driver kit. My iMac is a "Rev. A", the original 15" model.
