Resident Evil: Code Veronica X playthrough Part 1
3Time to enter the world of survival horror once more! Originally released for the Dreamcast in 2000,this is the X version,released for the Gamecube in 2003. Contains a few extra cutscenes and stuff that wasn't in the original. Claire Redfield had infiltrated an Umbrella Facility in Paris in an attempt to find her brother Chris. However,she was captured,and taken the Rockfort Island Training Facility. As the game starts,she's released from her cell by Rodrigo,who says this place is finished anyway. Grab the Handgun Bullets and the Knife here,and take note of the medicine bottle he tossed aside as you leave. More Bullets outside,don't bother with the single Ink Ribbon there though. As you enter the graveyard,you'll be greeted by your old buddies,zombies! After the cutscene,head for the exit ASAP. You'll likely get bitten once or twice,not much you can do really,don't bother fighting them. In the next area,Claire will meet Steve Burnside. This guy is annoying,but luckily he runs off on his own. You'll get a Handgun after this scene. Head into the next area,a Green Herb rests around here. Inside the building,take out the zombie closest to you,and use the table to avoid the others. Grab the Prison Map and another Green Herb in here,then go through the other door. There's a diary in here,and 2 sets of Bullets. As soon as you grab the bullets by the window however,a zombie bursts in,and wakes up the other zombies in the room. Kill him and grab the M-100P's he drops,and get outta there! Back outside,head around the building to find another door. More zombies in the next area,take 'em down. In the next building you'll have to deposit all your metal items in a box,or emergency shutters will close. Don't worry it's safe here,for now. Head into the next room to find a note and Steve. Seems Chris is under Umbrella surveillance. Claire will end up using the computer here to contact Leon,and then Steve gets all pissy for some reason and storms off. Grab the Hawk Emblem from the desk here,then put it in the duplication machine in the previous room. Oh and pull the lever in here before you leave,it turns the power on to the shutters outside. We'll come back to it in a bit. Head out and grab your stuff on the way. Back outside,open the shutter to reveal more zombies. Shoot the explosive barrel,and take down the other 2 zombies that bust out. Grab the Fire Extinguisher,and the Padlock Key from the guillotine.
