2Ah, the classic internal battle between me and wasting resources by jumping to situations where I'll likely lose a bunch of them, thus resulting in a stalemate where I overthink things for a quarter of an hour. On the bright side, I got through the armory doors and got the rewards within. Even got myself the "Uzis", though you'll find out what I mean by that if you already know. Eheh.
Also, it might be just my pedestrian knowledge of sci-fi fiction in general, but I do wonder if the other weapons are based off of various other IPs. I know enough about Stargate that I could recognize the funny Zat', but maybe the funny DEagle looking thing is based from something else as well. It won't bother me in my sleep, but I'll still probably wonder every now and then.
