Sneaky Doom | Codedame: Black Mesa | No Failure Runs
Remember that one bit in my Touhou Doom clipshow thing about a mapset actually being called Codedame instead of Codename? Yeah, we're playing that today. Surprised I didn't try doing this sooner, though I guess with there being so few HL1 themed mapsets, playing them in a setup that has most of the reskins felt more of a fit. Most of the reskins here are reused from the HDest set with a little bit of renaming, so I dunno about releasing them for SDoom in particular.
To finish off a thought I made months ago, couldn't figure out how to have enemies do the different footsteps thing, sorry. Spent a while trying to brainstorm it, but I don't think I have the capacity to comprehend it, so I'll also be releasing my fork of SDoom with this vid. Has a few extra goodies and fixes compared to the original SDoom.
Like I mentioned, the rocket launcher is now a thing to fight the IoS with or if you need to alert a bunch of enemies. Spawns on plasma rifles. Good ol' HUD is integrated by default, along with separate bars for how visible and how audible you are. The blursphere has been replaced to a Deus Ex-esque camo suit that you can carry with you instead of using at the spot.
There's also portable stimpacks that rarely drop in chaingun pickups, could only carry 5. WolfSS' can now be snuck upon. The IoS is also sneakable, from a certain point of view. Could be more stuff that I've done, but that's just all I remember at the moment.
