Signal Lost | Between Two Worlds | No Failure Run
I struggled a bit to pick whether to run this mapset with Signal Lost or Absolute Zero. Signal Lost won at the end 'cause it was less of a gamble to modmix with compared to the latter.
Granted, it does lose some of the neat features, like having hwgrunts for hgrunts that are set to using the cigar submodels, instead needing to be wirejammed in (which I didn't for this mapset, so you're not gonna see any for the moment). Ups and downs to both mods, however.
The part of the gamble I mentioned? Absolute Zero has enemies not drop their weapons. Ammo/firearms procurement in combat gets just a notch tricksy as a result. I'll probably swap back and forth between them depending on the map's generosity regarding pickups.
Anyways, Between Two Worlds. The name fits quite well for the kind of stuff I'm doing here, no? I wouldn't call it the best mapset for the mix, but I still enjoyed it.
