Retro Flashback Halloweek: Clock Tower (Super Famicom/SNES)
In this episode of Retro Flashback, I take a look at Clock Tower for the Super Famicom. This is an amazing title because it's a point-and-click adventure game on a console, it never came out outside of Japan (I played an English fan translation), it was developed by the guys who made Monster Party and even though it's a 16-bit game, it's genuinely creepy, disturbed and scary. It's really an incredible experience, one rarely found on the older consoles and a tribute to the awesome talent at the now defunct Human Entertainment. More people should check this out.
The Japanese version of Clock Tower can be purchased digitally on the Japanese Wii Virtual Console which can be accessed through the Wii Shop Channel. Sadly, I don't believe this can be done on North American or European Wii systems.
