Since we explored the bug culture in Japan in Beetler's video, we'll be taking a look at a different aspect of Rhinoggin today. Rhinoggin is inspired by the Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle whom the most popular japanese hat took inspiration from in its design. That hat is called the Kabuto is known all over the world as a symbol of feudal japan and the samurai's helmet. Each Kabuto is custom made and can have hundreds of different parts to it. It is one of the most sophisticated of the sophisticated in the world of hats even to this day. Eventually Japan achieved a good level a peace where there wasn't war everyday and these hats became more of a symbol of wealth and prestige.
