Your character has crashed on an unknown planet. You must now guide him back to his ship in this platformer themed mobile game called Rock Runners. Your main focus here is to control your character by making him jump or swing. He will automatically run for you on the platforms. Grab as many gems as you can along the way and use them inside the store to purchase different items. Each level also features obstacles you must avoid. Your character will lose 1 life when you touch any of these obstacles. Try to complete the missions on each level to gain perfect ratings.

Overview

Rock Runners is an arcade type platform game where you will take control of an energetic runner, swinging and jumping across the platforms, there are a total of 140 challenging levels in all, each one of them having their own set of obstacles and challenges that you need to survive, you can collect gems across the levels to open up new playable characters and access cool powerups to help you out, it won't be easy though as there are a lot of obstacles along the way, like those toxic goo and other life threatening contraptions, you can run, jump or swing using your laser grapple in this fast paced game, it going to be fun but it's not going to be easy as obstacles are scattered all throughout the levels, and if your timing ain't perfect, you'll fall down to your doom quite quickly, there are also other goals for you to complete in every level, and completing them all will give you the highest ratings at the end of the level, so come on and join the adventure, play the game and test your skills, see just how far you can go here in Rock Runners.

Graphics and Sound

Rock Runners has stunning graphics, I particularly like the character designs in the game, the characters really look cool and quite adorable, they have high details too, the environments are also great, it looks varied from one level to another with a lot of detail put into them, colors are also nice, they are crisp and sharp and really makes the game look great, animations are also great, they are smooth as can be and certainly makes the game more fun and exciting to play, music and sounds are also cool, the in game soundtrack is nice to the ears and adds up to the excitement when playing the game and the sound effects are great, there's never a dull moment in the game, special effects are also cool, not really that flashy or fabulous but still kinda nice and managed to make the game look pretty, overall, the game looks solid visually, really pretty if I may say so.

Gameplay

Rock Runners is quite fast paced when it comes to gameplay, you run and jump or swing your character around using your lased grapple or lasso, you need to collect gems while avoiding all the obstacles along the way, and if you get enough gems and finish it in record time, you'll get three stars as a reward, as with most platform games, you need to control your character from the start all the way to the end, utilizing all the character's abilities to your advantage, get enough gems and you open up new and cooler characters for you to use, and some powerups too, it won't be easy as the game is really fast paced but it sure is fun, to use the lasso, you only need to tap the screen and hold until it is attached, do this repeatedly and you're good to go.

Rock Runners features stunning graphic designs for you to enjoy, it has a fast paced gameplay, there are a variety of characters for you to unlock and use and a lot of powerups too, there are a lot of gems to collect and extra goals to complete, and it has easy to use controls for your playing pleasure.

Conclusion

Rock Runners is quite fun and really a challenge, especially if you go for those extra goals like collecting a set percentage of gems and reaching the end in record time, but it was really fun, I enjoyed this one a lot.
