This Could Hurt is an arcade type adventure puzzle game that has you taking on the role of an oakguard apprentice, the story goes that before you become a full pledged oakguard, you need to first survive the path of pain where you need to put your life on the line in a beautifully designed and intricate path filled with puzzles, booby traps and other obstacles such as rotating blades, spikes, chasms, collapsing floors, giant mallets that can squash you to pieces and many more, there are 4 uniquely designed worlds you need to traverse, each one of them having 10 challenging levels each and each one of them having their own set of puzzles and life threatening obstacles for you to overcome, it's going to be dangerous alright and you'll need all the help you can get if you ever want to past the test and become a fully pledged oakguard, fortunately, there are powerups in the game that you can use in your adventure, like shields, health and even speed boosts, they cost though...in acorns, you need to collect those golden acorn scattered across the levels and once you have enough, use them to buy those all too important upgrades to help you out, so come on and join the adventure here in This Could Hurt.

Graphics and Sound

This Could Hurt has pretty graphics, the character designs is pretty and quite cool, details are also quite high, the main character really looks quite awesome, environments are great too, it looks varied from one location to another, each one of them having their own set of path for you to traverse and obstacles to overcome, colors are great, everything is sharp and crisp, the colors look quite vivid, from the characters to the environments, animations are also smooth, it makes playing the game a lot more fun, music and sounds are cool too, kinda subtle which is just great for this type of game, special effects are also quite cool, although nothing fancy, it still managed to make the game look really pretty, overall, visuals are pretty enough for everyone to enjoy.

Gameplay

This Could Hurt is a puzzle adventure game, every level is made up of puzzles and booby traps, they range from gaps to spikes, spinning saw blades and many more, the main goal in every level is to get to the end by travelling through the trap laden pathways without dying, it won't be easy as the pathways are littered with traps and obstacles and the character automatically moves, you are not in total control here, and most of the time, you'll see your character marching on to his death, towards those life threatening contraptions, you can make the character stop though, and this is just about the only real control you'll get when you play the game, powerups are available here, they can be bought at the shops using those golden acorns that you were able to collect, controls are quite simple by the way, you can play the entire game using a simple one touch control.

Features

This Could Hurt features an arcade type puzzle adventure game, it has 4 worlds available with 10 levels each for a total of 40 levels, there are a lot of mind boggling traps and puzzles and there are also powerups that you can use to make your experience more worthwhile.

This Could Hurt was quite fun, and I truly enjoyed it from start to finish, but I wish there were more control for the character, it could have been more fun if the player is in total control here, check it out and see for yourself.
