Well, I wasn't planning on doing another run of this hack this soon. The first run was just more of a concept video showing how busted the Flame weapon is. However, some new stuff came up almost immeditately after I posted the last run yesterday, and I just couldn't help but to try and attempt to do them. And thus, one more run for the road just to see where it all goes and to clean up some stuff compared to the first run.

The quick kills I'm talking about are in the Wily stages. One for the Rounder II and one for the Devil boss. The Rounder II quick kill is probably the harder of the two as it requires some very quick shooting of Blade's weapon with some pretty tight movement to get the necessary hits. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the quick kill, but you can see what I was trying to do, and it was still slightly faster than my first run's fight. The Devil quick kill in the next stage is much simpler in comparison. Starting off by using Stone's weapon at the start, the Devil's core gets exposed much sooner which allows for more Plug shots to connect. However, before the core goes off-screen for its next attack, a couple more Stone shots are necessary to get the completed quick kill. That's the most recognizable improvements to the run.

As for everything else, it's just generally cleaner movement aside from a typical slip-up or two, slightly altered use of Flame with less menuing, and mostly better menu navigation (keyword: "mostly"). Hopefully, I probably won't need to get back into this hack. This was a fun romp of a run, but I don't want to dig into Pandora's Box and try to over-optimize the game if more new stuff come out. I do have other games I want to put my focus and priorties on to try to work on and improve. It was still fun while it lasted. Enjoy the video as always.
