Dear Diary - It's calibration day; the day of the month that I intervene and review my gaming metrics to-date, specifically to take a look at what systems I have been playing on and for what system it has been the longest since I played on. Right now, it is the PlayStation 3, which I have not gamed on since early January (minus a slight mathematical error I made that caused me to not select the Nintendo 3DS XL; Oh well). So I'll be jamming through my backlog on the PS3 for the next three days.
What came up on the games carousel today was this game. A title released by Techland, who I think make the ATV vs MX series? Or maybe these are the Homeland guys? I'll need to fact-check myself on that. This capture has stuttery in-game audio for some reason, but I think my voiceover came out fine and I think the video capture itself was ok, so I'm posting it anyway. I had a blast playing this. It is soooooo fast. It takes a very fine touch on the controls to keep these 4-wheelers under control. Which makes it my kind of game; realism be damned. If there is a game that defines adrenaline, this one is def in the ballpark.
