As mentioned before, once I return from doing the X-8 Lab, beneath the
Yubileiny Service Center, I can no longer leave Pripyat. For that reason, I decided to load up on all the weapons I had recovered from killing 9 of the 10 Mercenaries I had met at the Apartment complex across the way from the Laundromat. Since my last trip to both Jupiter and Zaton, I knew there were some at or around the Skadovsk still with money, while everyone was broke back at Yanov Station.

I arrived at the Skadovsk late at night and was surprised to find it mostly empty with only the core 9 people on board including Pilot. Before I unloaded, I went topside and saw the headlamp of someone between the two ships and jumped overboard to go sell them something. As I approached them through the heavy brush I could not see, I saw a green star on my Mini-Map, expecting a Loner but to my surprise it was a lone Bandit. he quickly lost interest in me when two Zombies appeared right in our midst.

Then I saw Loners coming down the hills into the basin and these were all the Loners I expected to see returning to the Skadovsk. I knew I needed to return to the ship and dump my load so I could go back out to the expected firefights between the Loners and Bandits. Sadly, I arrived too late to help the green Bandit from Pseudodogs and I went over to a few of the Loners to sell what I could having gone out with a small load of weapons. I also went to the north of the Skadovsk where I had seen some Loners but could not find anyone but a pack of mutant dogs.

Soon back aboard the Skadovsk, I found the one Exoskeleton Loner who had a lot of money when I left Zaton before. Those who had little money I tried to sell as much vodka to those who could afford it. I shortly loaded up on some more guns and decided to go out into the night to sell them. As expected going east, once I got up to the road going to the Burnt Farmstead, I saw farther to the east a campfire at the Swamp, which I hoped was someone with money. Right before I got there, I met two Bandits and after the squad leader upgraded to an SPSA-14, we both discovered Zombies at the Swamp.

After killing and looting them, I could see the tell-tale signs of invisible artifacts dancing around in the chemical soup of the Swamp. I went down into it and recovered 3 artifacts. When I came out my Mini-Map now indicated 3 people and I found another Bandit who was wounded that I gave a medkit to, turning him green, but not before I killed the last of three Zombies who were coming down the hill from the Saw Mill. I looted all the Zombies and again sold what I could. I was just trying to decide if it was time to go back with my partial load of used weapons when my detection meter went off bright green letting me know I was visible to an unseen enemy. I turned round and round trying to find it and the roar and sheen of an uncloaking Bloodsucker attacked us and I blasted it. Then an Emission hit and the nearest place to go was the drainage tunnel under the road to the south. Once there safely, I ended the video for now.
