Samantha Swift was probably the first game of this genre I had ever played that had an actual story (sorry, Big City Adventures). It was developed by MumboJumbo and released in 2009 although I played it no sooner than somewhere around 2016.
Although I already uploaded a playthrough of this game years ago, I decided to play the game once again on Steam Deck for testing purposes: I used the handheld mode and recorded the entire footage with the newly added Game Recording feature directly on Steam Deck! Because of the low resolution (1280x800), I exported it to 1440p (at least, I wanted to, but as you can see I accidentally exported it as a 4K video :D) using Handbrake with the fast hardware encoding preset (its speed is insane, 700-800 fps per second) - everything is convenient and looks great!
To control the game, I simply used the mouse and keyboard simulation, where the right trackpad is your mouse and you use LMB either by pressing the trackpad or R2. It is pretty convenient but can sometimes be a bit wonky.
