Time for more Stray :)

After accidentally leaving Antvillage early last time, we're off to find Clementine of the Outsiders armed with the vague hints from Zblatazar. Honestly all we really got was "Midtown" but but between our cat and B12 I'm sure we can work something out. We soon come across a train of sorts, like a subway type train in remarkably good condition. I guess it stands out as it's quite a sort of "civilization" thing and it's in immaculate condition in a station. The civilization theme fits though as after meeting a nearby robot called Ledoc and getting the "Cat's best friend" achievement for cuddling enough robots hah, we see more wonders ahead, another drone thing similar to B12! it turns out to be a security robot, we've reached Midtown and security is questioning someone at the gates. The "security" seems questionable though, who do they work for and why do they seem so hostile? Also what's "Neco Corp"? We stay on target and ask about Clementine though, who turns out to actually be the robot on the Wanted posted right beside us. Oh, oops :S

Midtown is amazing inside, we quiz everyone we meet to try to narrow down where we can find Clementine, some say she left, others that she lives in a residence area, through gradual bits and pieces research we start to close on where that residence is at least. This Midtown place is so full of shops and people though, it's going to be a while before we leave here, it's huge! We've already acquired some stuff too, a lovely Cat Badge, the wrath of a shopkeeper after we tried to steal a jacket, lots of B12 memories, the love of a cowboy robot and apparently a place in the resistance against some sort of surveillance state that lords it over this place.

In time we finally narrow down the Residence area and while we try to narrow down Clementine's apartment/location/condition we do smash some cameras for a local called Simon. Seems Clementine was a sort of rebel, a dream and freedom figure considered a threat to the aggressive overlords who've somehow sunk their teeth into Midtown, but is she still here? We eventually find her apartment, it doesn't have stand out looking somewhere between an abandoned crime scene and a disaster site so we can go find out for ourselves. Inside all the boards and "nobody lives here now" stuff, we find a surprisingly lived in looking home, also a surprisingly present and not dead Clementine!!! :D Turns out she saw the Metro train we did and it;s part of her plan to get to the Outside, but she needs an Atomic Battery. And just like that we're recruited to sneak into the Neco corp factory and get the battery for her. Why does everyone always give us the scary, enemy making jobs?!
