Here you have an old Sega arcade game called "D.D. Crew". This game is a one, two, or three player beat em up and you have four characters to choose from..?(why not just make the game a four player..?.. leave it to Sega). anyhow, you basically are fighting your way through an amusement park and city to get to a Boss leader/Lord that wields two samurai swords two fight you with. along the way you'll fight several bosses each with a pattern of attack that you'll have to figure out in order to get past them. One for instance, is a female that will wield a (looks like a bowling ball) ball hanging from a chain around her head and if you happen to be next to her you will take a serious hit. two of those back to back and you're dead. so keep your distance and look for the chance to hit her first. If you can trap the boss against the side (one or the other) of the screen, you'll be able to get multiple hits on them much more easily but mash that button or they will get you! If you like beat em ups, you'll probably like this one but unfortunately, not for long. see the issue with this game is that it is very repetitive and the moves are pretty limited. I did find out that if you hit an enemy three times and are close to them you can push both the attack and jump buttons together and you will pick them up and toss them or spin them around you and then toss them. The problem is that it can leave you exposed to getting hit by other enemies. and there are several on screen at any time unless fighting a boss. The enemies are pretty much the same throughout the game just vary in color (another reason I say this game is repetitive). But again, if you like these types of games and want to play with a friend or two, get an emulator (because I think it's gonna to be hard to find an actual arcade machine) and find the game online (I can't get you where but Google is your friend😁) and give it a shot. I will say this, Streets of Rage (all 3 parts) are Waaaay better than this game. But again, it might be worth an hour or two of your time to play this. So sit back, relax, and enjoy Sega's D.D. Crew arcade. Please like, comment, and subscribe. And I'll catch you on the next level..!
