2Here you have The King of Dragons arcade game. similar to Knights of the Round as well it should be considering both games were developed and created by Capcom. This too is a side scrolling fantasy game borrowing from the likes of Dungeons and Dragons and combining hack n slash with magical elements. It could also loosely be considered an action RPG in that you will level up your character as you progress through the game. Your goal is to save the land from the Giant Red Dragon that appears to have a stranglehold on the villages in the area. You can choose different characters such as an Elf, Wizard, or warrior to name three with five total options to choose from. This game allows for one, two, and even three player co-op play. The game looks similar to Knights of the Round and you progress as in KOTR scrolling from left to right periodically fighting level bosses along the way. you can connect treasures and will come across floating orbs that you can push (you read that right) and they will float in the direction of your push. once several enemies populate the screen of you strike the orb it will explode causing damage to all the enemies or boss on the screen. If you push your attack and jump buttons together, you will trigger a more powerful attack (in my care it was lightning bolts that strike the nearest enemy or boss) and you can use this attack repeatedly keeping in mind that every time you do, you deplete your life bar until eventually you no longer can use it and most likely will die with one hit to you. You will also find food along the way which aids in replenishing a bit of your life bar but not much. I never saw this one in the arcades but if you're into these games you most likely would enjoy this one as well. So sit back, relax, and enjoy The King of Dragons arcade.
