Serious Sunday: Retro Music Rampage - The Alex Mauer DMCA debacle, & why our RCRU videos are missing
This week, Luke has some news to provide about the state of the Level 0 NPCs channel and how one musician's vendetta against a number of indie game companies for percieved wrongs in use of their music could have put the channel in jeopardy. He looks into the DMCA takedown notices being issued around the video game streaming and YouTube video space by chiptune musician Alex Mauer, on videos of Starr Mazer DSP, Death Road to Canada and River City Ransom Underground, he history around this battle that we are aware of, and Luke shares his perspective on the whole matter.

Serious Sunday is a freeform, sometimes roundtable discussion between the members of Level 0 NPCs, where a specific topic is pre-selected by the group to be explored and discussed at length. Each of the NPCs approach the topic from both the perspective of a seasoned, die-hard gamer, and as creators of games themselves. Part freeform review, part critical analysis, part video game book club, Serious Sunday is where the NPCs take a step back and take a moment to give a serious look at something that is important to the industry, or games in general.
