We start this part by heading back to the first area. There's a room I avoided in a very specific apartment building which is right next to the train station, and it is somewhat of a beginners trap because if you walk in there at the start of the game, the chances are high you will die. There's one Heavy Dude that can spawn with the ability to soak up an incredible amount of damage, and he's still durable at this point in the game ( albeit not as much ). We go check on Jangadance because I wanted to ask him about 'GHOULS' but that option had vanished from my list of things to ask about.

The Dude / Girl at the club will ask you about it and it gives you the option which Jangadance will comment on, as it was he she spoke about but alas, sorry.

And then we check out our good friend Glutman's computer because why not!

We progress the story by talking with the Street Doc before heading to 'Delay' part of the town where we learn that the gang Rust Stilettos ( or Rusted ) are rather unfriendly with us. We finish up by checking otu why they are so unfriendly and teach them a lesson. Now their room can be really dangerous due to the Gang Leader firing very rapidly so the best tip I can give is to tell everyone to focus fire on him. As soon as he goes down, the rest will follow quickly.

There's a special thing that will happen if you bring Jetboy with you to Rust Stilettoes but chances are you will not think of it because Jetboy is a fantastical, unremarkable shadowrunner whose more likely getting killed in one second than surviving. Jetboy has only a 3 in Body which is absolutely terrible, though one could say that it is very average human / elf. He uses a rather weak gun and has rather poor stats ( -editing this part later- ). Speaking of

Shadowrunners, avoid Jangadance. He is baad.

This part also shows the first true, difference between JP - NTSC-U/PAL versions of the game in form of the Shapeshifter at the docks. In our domestic versions of the game, this lady never speaks, she only turns into an Octopus and starts attacking you, but in the Japanese version, guess who it turns out to be . . .

Jake clearly got a thing for them, animal ladies!

What is a Shapeshifter? A Shapeshifter is an animal that was awakened when magic returned to the land and it gained the ability to change it's shape into that of a humanoid. They usually only shape into human forms, but they can become other metahuman types. Shapeshifters can get cyberware but it is somewhat of an complicated process for them and it can mess with their ability to shapeshift. With great bad luck, it may actually permanently seal of their ability to shapeshift at all. Even though Shapeshifters can look human, they will still retain animal traits, like if a cat shapeshifter turns human, it may end up as a catgirl/boy. As we may see soon enough . . .

The Rust/ed Stilettoes in the Snes game seems to be somewhat different compared to the pnp version where they are described as being comprissed by Orks and Trolls, living in a heavily radiated part of Seattle known as Glow City in the Redmond Barrens, and they are easily identified with their horrible mutations and red jackets. They deal heavily in BTL-chips ( 'Better Than Life' ). In this game, they seem to mostly consist of human jackasses.
