0So, after examining another one of the Ripper’s victims, we then continue our search for Coyote who is our only real source to finding more about Sam’s death. Alongside Paco, we head to one of the nearby buildings to find that it’s essentially a crack house but, the drugs they use are called “Better than Life” (BTL for short). BTL’s are actually interesting because they aren’t typical drugs, they are small chips that get implanted into your brain; to make it easier to explain, it’s like entering the Matrix (from the movie series by the same title) and having a world designed around literally anything. From what I gather, they have different kinds of scenario’s that they sell to people and allow them to visit those places for a limited time and get burned out after a single use. The biggest problem is that these chips can lead to some serious brain damage (not sure exactly how since they don’t mention it specifically but I can imagine that it’s very similar to most harmful, hallucinogenic narcotics). The reason for us to be here is that Coyote has been trying to find someone she was once very close to and has been trying to help them get off of these things.
