Alice: Madness Returns Part 22: What a Mess
0So, after meeting with the ghost of a dead captain, he asks us to save his comrades by murdering their undead corpses and then collecting their souls (or, at the very least, that is what happens, not sure he said anything like that but I digress). After helping out these sailors, we then have to head back into town and confront the Carpenter to make him tell us more about the Train and why/where/how it came to be. For the most part, the trip back is very similar to what we’ve been doing all level (invisible platforms, breaking the occasional wall for collectables etc.). I do want to mention that we find that last Radula Room within the level and, once we get to complete it, we gain a new flower for our health. I’m not sure about the total number of Radula Rooms there are in the game but, I’m going to assume that they will have at least four on each level (except for the first level) which means that, in theory, we should be able to gain a new flower of health per level. The challenges themselves are interesting; they either are composed of asking a question or a small arena challenge. Personally, I prefer the question because the arena is such an odd shaped room that it is a little hard to move around. Instead of it being a simple circle that you run around in, it’s in the shape of a table with four massive holes cut on in the center of it (You probably have already noticed the table’s shape since this is the third fight we’ve had in these rooms but, if you don’t, think of a like an old-timey wooden wheel with four gaps).
