Some glitches I found in Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter.

0:00 - there's a strange glitch that can be done inside loading screens where Holmes is travelling on a cab. If you press open both "casebook" and "deduction" menus simultaneously, the game's camera will reset back to the real Holmes who is patiently waiting in an unloaded environment for things to load. After a few seconds, the cutscene camera activates again, unless you've already arrived at your destination. Too bad you can't move or do anything during new during this time - this is just a visual glitch.

Different areas create a bit different results. Sometimes you can also see Watson standing in the unloaded void.

0:41 - another example.

1:17 - some more results from tests at the Foundry. I wanted to see what would happen if Holmes landed on Watson. As it turns out, Watson is actually a big platform to stand on! You can even move Holmes on top of Watson to different places, but this movement is quite slow.

2:12 - Holmes is immune to gravity as long as you're not controlling him. Otherwise, he immediately drops down if there's no floor underneath.

2:37 - a bit of OoB sightseeing. By standing on the invisible railing at certain spots, parts of the area stop drawing and reveal the endless void below the level.

3:27 - if you did the Foundry puzzle skip earlier by zipping on top of the balcony, you retain the ability to switch between Holmes and Watson a bit longer. This allows you to move Watson in harms way when watching the cutscene with the shooting mechanism. I could never get him directly in line with the spear, though - this was the best take I got.

(Note: yeah, I only later noticed I made an error in the subtitle... it's Watson who's in danger in this clip, not Holmes!)

3:45 - if you choose to replay the ending of a case, there's a very short time window to open other menus to mess up the upcoming loading screen. Opening the "deduction" menu will let you see the normal gameplay area while everything loads layer by layer.

4:38 - another example.

5:15 - another variation which I only got to work in the first case finale. I don't know the exact timing for this - I was just trying to open the "casebook" menu around and after the time I chose to "continue" after the loading screen. This resulted in the loading graphics never going away. There's the first-person view selector on screen, but it can't be moved. You can open and close "casebook", but it doesn't help much. Finally, opening and closing the "deduction" menu fixed the bug and revealed Holmes was in the cupboard like normal right at the finale of the case.

(Note: I noticed the L3 + R3 info menu quite late into testing and don't think I tested it at all with replaying ending...)
