Shiny Bagon LIVE after ~2641 encounters + surprises & evolutions! - Pokémon Ruby
After capturing my Koffing in the Fiery Path, I went to the Meteor Falls, this time with my Wailord which I taught him the "Waterfall", Swablu (Phase #1), Memoryquin (Phase #2) and Marill (Phase #17) . My goal was to find a shiny Bagon / Solrock, in addition to getting one of them with good nature and IV's in their normal form, depending on which shiny Pokémon I got first.

I woke up in the morning with my hair cut to zero. I woke up late as usual as I was getting addicted to completing the EXTRA puzzles from "Professor Layton and the Lost Future". So I also recorded late. And after 20 minutes of recording, with only 4 minutes left before the recording was over, I found this shiny Bagon. I was surprised but it bothered me that my reflection was seen in the video. Normally, I record lying down so that it is not reflected to me, but sometimes I record sitting because I think I will not find any shiny Pokémon and by the way, it saves me having to lie down for so long and feel pain in my neck and back.
This was one of those cases that I didn't want to happen to me. Anyway, the important thing is that I got it live and at first and I was able to continue my path. As I said in the video, this was the last shiny Pokémon that I would catch in my Pokémon Ruby, at the moment. It was time to take a break from Pokémon Ruby and get back to my Pokémon Sapphire and also my Emerald. But before that, I had to be prepared for when I return to my Pokémon Ruby. So after finishing the video, I went back to the Meteor Falls to get Solrock, the last Pokémon Ruby exclusive Pokémon that I was missing and also a Bagon with a Rash/Mild nature and good IV's for the day when I compete in the Battle Tower.
About 2 hours passed and I came across another shiny Bagon by coincidence. I got surprised. I knew this could happen though, as I had a lot of encounters in my last quests (Groudon and Koffing). The best part was when I realized that it had a Dragon Scale equipped. Incredible, thank goodness I decided to record this video to have my reaction live. Later, I captured a Bagon that didn't have perfect Special Attack IV's which was what I was looking for, but by checking it's IV's I discovered that it could have very good Attack and Speed IV's and that it had good IV's overall.
After thinking and rechecking the IV's of my Bagon, I decided to train the first one I captured since it had perfect or almost perfect IV's in Special Attack like my Salamence from my Sapphire and decent (maybe good) IV's in Defense and Special Defense, except in HP and Attack which had few.
Anyway, I left my Koffing in the Pokémon Day Care until it leveled up about 7 levels while training my Bagon. Just when I fully trained Bagon, I picked up Koffing and it had already learned "Sludge". I trained my Koffing and recorded both the evolution of my Koffing and the evolutions of my Bagon.
I also tried to record the exclusive Pokémon trading session between my Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Unfortunately, I was unable to record it due to a bug that appeared lately on the camera's microSD card... Finally, I was left to train my shiny Anorith that I sent a long time ago, in the first trade session, and that I received in this trade session with my Beldum of my Sapphire. After training and evolving them, it was time to return to my Pokémon Sapphire.
THE COUNT AND AVERAGE OF THIS QUEST
The day I captured my Koffing, I must have done about 400 off-camera and recording encounters. The following days, I did an average of 900 recorded encounters and ~100 off-camera to reach 1,000 per day. I was doing an average between ~70-75 encounters per recording. In one of my 24 minute recordings, I lost the count because I had the calculator turned off and didn't realize this until the recording was done. As I did that average of encounters, I decided to add 68 encounters to the count. As in the search for my shiny Koffing, I also used the White Flute in this quest.
