Shiny Regirock LIVE after 4472 resets - Pokémon Sapphire
0I have been since April 6, 2019 without recording on my Pokémon Sapphire. The last video I recorded was getting, for the first time, the silver trainer card in the Battle Tower. Since then, I only returned to make trades with my Pokémon Emerald, Emerald #2 ("AHOIP JK's" game), Ruby (previous game), Ruby #2 (sold) and Sapphire #2, or else, I was catching, getting eggs or training my Pokémon.
The day I officially returned, I had to do my last trainings with the Pokémon that I received in the exclusive Pokémon trade session between my Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. While training my Lileep's Defense, I came across a shiny Wurmple by chance in the Petalburg Woods. I caught it and continued my trainings.
At the end of my trainings, I was ready to record and go for the last four Pokémon I had to catch to complete the Pokédex. I decided to go for a shiny Regirock first. I spent a long time thinking about the Pokémon that I could take with me, since I had trained several and different Pokémon since my last video recorded in Sapphire, thinking about new strategies and future objectives.
Having my team prepared, I went to the Desert Ruins. I translated the Braille message and began to record how Regirock's chamber opened. However, I forgot to teach the movement "Skill Swap" to Grumpig, to make my "Quintina" forget "Rock Smash" to teach her "Strength" so that I could open Regirock's chamber and when I thought I was ready, I realized that my Swellow wasn't ready to use"Effort" and I had to go back out once more. Because of this, I deleted the clip I had recorded to put at the beginning of this video.
Once ready, I started the quest doing 400 resets on the first day and an average of 1,200 resets per day in the following days. Every time I had time, I took the opportunity to practice capturing Regirock, I investigated how much it would cost to send a package to the United States, I thought about what I could play after the recording sessions... 4 days later, I found this shiny Regirock and captured it, fortunately.
