This clip is special to me. The stream this is from was the first thing of Kiki’s I watched since her debut almost a year before, and I didn’t know much about her at that point, but after this, I couldn’t help but feel attached to her already, especially since her nightmare is actually strikingly similar to a dream I had myself ages ago but in reverse, even down to the little details. I hope this clip is also a decent introduction to Kiki even for those who haven’t had a dream just like that: It brings up her health and the issues around it, it demonstrates the “jime-jime” gloomy atmosphere of her streams, and it shows how much she cares for her Puppe-kuns and how much they love her back.

It's a catch phrase of Kiki’s and a word she loves using to describe the atmosphere of her streams, where she often talks about sad or dark topics, unfortunately including her health. That probably doesn't make it sound very fun, so let me quote Rukako’s wiki project: “Like the moon illuminating a dark night with its gentle glow, she fills the cracks in your tired heart and softly snuggles up to you: ‘Let’s get gloomy together.’”
