Everyone loves mommy streams, but nobody does them quite like Mary. The sweetness and love is overwhelmingly wonderful of course, but honestly one of my favorite parts about these is how some parts have just a little undercurrent of spiciness, lines like “go along with the things I do to you” and “I’ll let you do anything” that make you go “ah…” and remind you that, even within the situation, you’re not really a baby. I also really like the way she works you being a little embarrassed into the situation without sort of engineering a perpetually standoffish male protagonist the way some people do, which is a hard balance to get right.

2:08 “Babu-chan,” which she continues to call you for the rest of the clip including in the second person, is a cutesy way of referring to a baby based on the sound effect of the noise they make, similar to “wan-chan” for dogs, “nyan-chan” for cats, etc.
3:09 The difference between “gyuu” and “mugyuu” is really in the strength of the hug, so these are meant to be some pretty intense cuddle hugs.
3:48 At this point, Mary switches her first-person pronoun to “mama” and continues like that for the rest of the clip. Prior to this, she actually doesn’t use any first-person pronoun at all, as unlike in English, in Japanese you can often just leave it to be implied through context and drop first-person references completely.
