#DIY #HowTo make simple voltage control oscillator (VCO) - frequency synthesizer on breadboard. The component of the VCO circuit is as follows

1 x CD4046 IC
1 x 100 kOhm resistor
1 x 1 kOhm potentiometer
1 x 10 nF ceramic capacitor

1 x audio amplifier circuit
1 x sub-speaker

The voltage input is controlled by the 1 kOhm potentiometer which is connect directly to the 5 volt input voltage. So using the potentiometer the voltage can be controlled by its resistance. The higher the voltage the higher the frequency sound otherwise lower voltage also lower frequency sound.
