And uh...here we are, another match from that same tourney. I didn't participate in many matches for this (a lot of people didn't. I actually was declared the winner of this tourney because I won four matches...and I played that all in one quick sitting and didn't go back for the other days the tourney was active. Now...the original match is JUST over the replay's time limit, at three minutes and about seventeen seconds so I opted to try a newly added "Highlight Reel" feature to the Replay Channel and see how it worked....The results....ugh.

Tourney
Gaur Plain
Mii Brawler (Me), Mii Brawler (War Lord)
The Highlight Reel seems similar to the system used in Mario Kart 8 where it takes the "best moments" from a given race and lets you post them...but that game gave you at least a LITTLE control over what you wanted the game to "look for" and what to show....Smash gives you NO control over this at all. Let God take the wheel...and that God is Sakurai!

I'll be honest there is NOT a lot of interesting content in this match anyway, so its honestly a good one to try this Highlight Reel science on. Gaur Plain is from a game I like, and I like the stage...but its too damn big for all but eight players. Way too much time is spent trying to GET to your opponents rather than just fighting. Of course in this particular match you'll notice that War Lord here (or uh...Match King as he calls his Mii) has some speed and jumping enhancing equipment on him. My personal Mii you see here has NO equipment whatsoever on it, and I could barely keep up with the guy.

Its funny though, as the day/night cycle combined with the awkward cuts makes it look like this battle lasts DAYS...and it kinda feels like that sometimes!

I agree, Metal Face, this is not how this was supposed to go! (That IS what you were gonna say, right?)
