i've not seen any tetsujin media besides the opening themes for this and the original and honestly i probably won't because for as much as i like super robots 'n shit i just don't really like any of the tetsujin designs. i dunno. the only thing i know about the series is that the name of the protagonist was lifted for katsuhiro otomo's akira. i haven't actually seen the film, but i did read the manga years and years ago, now, which - from what i can gather - is the most comprehensive experience of the story and it was brilliant.
now that the obligatory bit about my comments on the work in question is over, i actually had a fun topic idea earlier this week. have you ever just been going about your life, day-to-day, and then randomly over the span of a little bit, you get ass blasted with evidence pointing towards something reminicent of the baader-meinhoff effect? [basically just the notion that, following your reading or processing of something, media, literature, fuckin' gay pornography, whatever, you begin to see it everywhere.] it's commonly written off as a frequency bias, but i don't buy that shit. (frankly, i don't buy most psychology. it's a pseudoscience for pseuds and lacks the interesting layers, bordering on escotericism, that finds itself associated with stuff like religion/theology and how that all works beyond the surface level.) i genuinely think that there has to be come ethereal shit at play when stuff like that happens and people are just being gaslit and being told that "ermmm actually, the fact that you became interested in [x niche topic or whatever] and then it suddenly came back after 40 years or you had multiple different people who don't know each and other talk to you about exactly the same oddly specific subject a day apart with no prompting from you is just a heckin' coincidence!!! look at my peer-reviewed study on le recency/frequency bias and ignore your own intution and pattern recognition, chud!!!"
is it straight up a god thing? is it supposed to be a message of some sort? i don't know, genuinely asking.
so now that you kinda know what i mean if you were able to decipher my incomprehensible schizo blabber, you can surely think of some things, right? that shit happens to me once or twice every few months and every time i get hit with a weird feeling. it sounds like a narcissistic concept but i know that other people must notice this shit, too, no? it happened to me this earlier this week: two different people on literal other sides of the world talked to me on seperate occasions within a day about a hyper-specfic topic that could not have been spurred by any recent events or anything. it feels too strong to be a coincidence and i don't ever mention it while it shows itself because there is this primal stranglehold on me which says that doing so in-the-moment will set something out of order that should be left just as it is. the convicition is too strong and the feeling of recognition is too strong. fuck frequency bias, this shit has to have some weight. i'm not an xfag because frankly i detest being in the precence of occult demonic shit (one could argue that the fact of life is living in the constant presence of evil, but i'd rather not willingly engage with more when everyone should be always trying to fight against it anyways, but you get my point) and a lot of the stuff there doesn't interest me, but i'd assume that there is something there about this shit. maybe i'll check later today, i dunno.
i don't really have a point that i really want to ride home, here. i just want to know if other people feel the same way about this kind of thing. i'm an inherently distrustful person of things of the world. i don't buy any ideas that people sell because the things that people sell are tainted and evil, so it's almost certainly different for you than it is for me. maybe it is just a coincidence and i just think that psychologists are queers which makes me disregard 98% of that shit. maybe i am right and there is something here. but the question then becomes 'what are we to do with it and why does this happen?'
all this being said and with my questions and statements now out of the way, nobody will watch this video in any event because nobody cares about tetsujin 28, lmao.
have a wonderful day, gentlemen. god bless.
