The Force of Courage 8 Bit Remix - Galneryus
really short vid because i wasn't sure what i was going to upload today, the actual song is way longer (honestly kinda overstays its welcome, not as good as angel of salvation) but this is just the main parts of the thing.
i didn't bother watching that mike tyson thing last night. it was always going to be rigged in favor of wigger mcgee in order to boost his career and make money for sponsors and companies so that they can go "he beat iron mike!!!!" which hasn't really meant anything in twenty years. i don't know why anyone would care at all who the victor was - babby's first conspiracy theory is "every major sporting event is pretty explicitly rigged" so idfk why that would be any different with this.
dunno what to talk about, time for the 'ol random topic generator
"now that indie publishing has become easier, have books gotten better or worse?"
i don't dare touch independently published literature - are you fucking kidding me? i've not even gone all the way through all of the shit that i'd like to read (the divine comedy, the early mccarthy novels, different translations of the new testament, taiko, the dead zone, the silmarillion, etc) so why the fuck would i waste my fucking time reading other stuff before getting through my backlog? i think this question could be very easily expanded upon to something like "now that the general means of distribution have become easier, has art become better or worse?" which is a way more fun question considering the video that you're watching right now. think about it: you're watching a video made by some fuck where he transcribed a song using a free, browser-based program and uploaded for not a dime on the biggest video-sharing platform that there ever will be. that's bonkers, right? the most bonkers part is that this video is kind of fucking shit, lmao. that doesn't speak to the general quality of all independently-published works in current year but it does speak to the quantity. it's not about whether things have gotten either better or worse by some definite metric: it's moreso about things being drowned out by excess. any fuck can put up whatever the hell they want on the internet in current year and you can get things published physically with only slightly more effort: of course there are going to be massive amounts of shit - some good, some bad. everyone nowadays just wants to "make it" in their chosen industry and that has been made tenfold easier with social media as a vehicle for promotion. it doesn't mean that everything now is worse, but instead i feel that to say that many things could be disingenuous and that there is simply so much content now that it is impossible to measure all of it is more accurate.
i hate the question of whether or not something in society is now "better or worse" because it's fucking nihilistic and gay, not to mention it being a massive generalization. everyone above a certain threshold of general intelligence will at some point go "yeah everything sucks and everything is worse because the west has fallen and i can't get pussy and da joos are making me work at macdonalds" but once you move past that mindset you realize that saying that everything sucks and then doing nothing about it is a waste of your time and totally shitty, also that things of the world do not fucking matter and are often evil distractions to bring you away from god. things are only worse by a definite measure when you believe them to be. i once talked about how you experience what you deem true about reality, and i still think about that a lot. it's true, you know. don't let yourself be raped into thinking that everything sucks nowadays. it's just well poisoning from people who want you unwilling and unable to spite the bad.
i dunno, i'm tired today and haven't had anything to eat or drink yet. i started buying those cartons of egg whites recently because they were on a killer sale and i quite enjoy them. i don't even season 'em, just cook up the carton and eat it. they come in packs of 500ml and you can buy them in bulk - it's really helpful. i'm not in with the excercising meta for current year and i don't know anything about what kinds of foods are good other than "more protein and less carbs/sugars = good" but i've been trying to get stronger over the past few months and it's pretty fun. hopefully once prices settle back down i can start consistently buying beef because that shit is expensive.
welp
have a wonderful day, gentlemen. god bless.
