Staff Sergeant Paul Swain, who lost his arm in an IED explosion in Helmand, knows only too well that life after injury is unbelievably tough.

Whilst his 9th/12th Royal Lancers comrades carried on with their tour and work in the military, he had to accept his injury and start deciding what he wanted to do with his future.

It may sound like a strange combination but music and golf have both been vital in helping Paul on his road to recovery.
