British personnel serving with the UN in Cyprus have been helping raise money for a children's hospital on the island. 17 Port and Maritime Group arrived in Nicosia in April and every Saturday they have been helping the Cans For Kids charity by crushing cans for recycling. They are collecting aluminium to raise cash for the local children's ward.
