So then, Knuckles found the remaining missing pieces of the Master Emerald, but he still wanted to know about that water monster that destroyed it to begin with.

Suddenly, after a bright flash forced Knuckles to make his drowning noises, he had to go check out what caused that light.

Apparently, Sonic had just defeated Eggman once more, and he decided to head off of his own Egg Carrier, with Sonic chasing after him.

Knuckles was about to make his leave, too, but then he was stopped by Chaos. He now had 6 of all 7 Chaos Emeralds, changing him into Chaos 6!

Fighting Chaos 6 as Knuckles is just slightly harder than using Sonic. Parts of the floor have given way, and falling into them will hurt you.

But same as before, dodge Chaos' attacks until and pick up the ice bombs to freeze him with, then shatter him open for damage. I quickly use the Maximum Heat Knuckles Attack to do more damage to him at a time than usual.

Knuckles defeats Chaos once and for all, and now not only glides off of the falling Egg Carrier with the remaining Master Emerald pieces, but also with the 6 Chaos Emeralds.

Back on Angel Island, Knuckles fully repairs the Master Emerald, allowing the island to float back up towards the sky.

And that was, and still is the story of his whole life. A lonely red echidna that has dedicated himself to being the guardian of the island's most powerful gem.

Knuckles' (infamous) theme song is a Rap/RnB theme named Unknown from M.E. It takes as much time to describe Knuckles' seriousness, strength, and skill as it does to describe his solo tenure as the Master Emerald's long, last-standing guardian of his clan, sworn to keep it in one piece at all costs and only teaming up with others (such as Sonic) if it's necessary to get his job done.

Thanks for watching up to this point. This was published on April 8th, 2022. That is the US release date of the Sonic 2 movie, in which Knuckles plays a big role in that ALSO involves the Master Emerald.

Time to move on to the second half of this game's playable roster, which will MUCH more divergent in playstyle compared to the first half.
