Xenoblade Chronicles DE: Part 3: The Bond Between Shulk & Fiora
Shulk, after observing the Monado, once more, decided to follow Dickson's advice and take a break from the Weapons Development Lab.
Meanwhile, Dunban was resting at his house, continuing to heal from his Monado-induced wounds.
His precious younger sister, Fiora, was his caretaker, providing him with a lunch right at his bed as he continued to heal. She didn't want her brother to try and fight again, but even as he struggled to use his right arm just to pick up his spoon, Dunban remained determined to be ready to wield to Monado once more.
Dunban convinced Fiora to then take a lunch to Shulk, despite Fiora claiming that Shulk has no sense of taste...
Running into Dickson, he told Fiora that she can find Shulk at Outlook Park.

Shulk won't be the only character you can use in this game. For a short little while, you're gonna use Fiora to find Shulk and deliver to him his own lunch.
(Fiora has... some very interesting jump noises in English, by the way...)
Fiora fights with twin knifes, and is the speedier character between herself, Shulk, and Reyn.
Her Talent Arts is Butterfly Step. It's her strongest attack that does 4 brutal hits!
----------
Fiora eventually finds Shulk sitting on a bench at Outlook Park. He was still thinking about that Monado. Somehow, that Monado was originally wielded by the Bionis, itself.
Shulk eats the sandwich and loves it. Fiora was reluctant to believe him, but he was being honest.
The two golden-blondes enjoyed the piece of that park, let alone of their entire colony. They hope that every day can stay this way.
Colony 9's Anti-Air Batteries were then triggered because of falling debris and blasted it away. Shulk then realized it was not safe to stay at that part and wanted to return with Fiora to the lab.

Both of them have red arts that can do more damage to the enemy in the back. You can't really go wrong with using either one of them while the other surrounds the enemy on their opposite side.
Mind the Heart-To-Heart points. Depending on two characters' Affinity for each other, you might be able to put them through a chat. Make the right replies in this chat to further raise their shared Affinity, but picking the wrong ones can drop it, instead.
In Definitive Edition, you can change everyone's equipment WITHOUT having their appearances reflect their changes.

When Shulk and Fiora return to the lab, the discover that Reyn was trying to fiddle with the Monado by himself. The two surprised him, and then the Monado activated on its own, as if it was trying to get away from Reyn.
Reyn's sloppiness with the Monado caused him to destroy some machines. He even accidentally swung the sword right at Fiora. Luckily, she didn't get hurt, but the Monado still shoved her, a bit. This is because the Monado can't hurt other people, and the symbol on the Monado may be the reason why.
Either way, Fiora was a bit upset with Shulk over how he was upset with Reyn more for making a mess of his beloved lab rather than moreso worrying about whether or not the Monado actually cut her.
When Shulk picked up the Monado, though, something very strange happened to him with it...
He started seeing a lot of events transpire... events he was involved in. Events that included people he hasn't even met, yet. Events that looked... tragic...
This only happened when Shulk saw those... visions, but not when Reyn picked it up. Apparently, this has happened to Shulk several times already.
Besides that, the another reason Reyn was out and about is because his colonel put him on punishment duty, and the next part of it involves going to the Mag Mell Ruins to pick up some Ether Cylinders. So Shulk decided to tag along to lend him a hand.
To reach those ruins, they have to go through the Tephra Cave, but Fiora was worried that Shulk would get hurt. So Reyn promised to Fiora that wouldn't happen.

A majority of this video just focuses on me exploring more of places around Colony 9. Battling some monsters and thinking some decent strategies as Shulk and Reyn.
But much later, I do head for the cave.
Looks like Fiora was waiting for the boys there with transport cases. But the catch that she was going along with them to the Mag Mall Ruins. She really couldn't trust Reyn with Shulk, did she?
This game allows you to have up to 3 characters to represent a full part to travel and fight as. However, as you get further through the game, there will be more party members joining the whole team that you'll be switching in and out of.
