Tower of Fate

Nothing much to see in this part, other than, as you may have guessed, actually talking to the towersfolk (is that even a word?) without rush. While the Tower of Fate setting looks more intimidating than Plague Knight's underground hideout under Pridemoor Village, it isn't exactly full of townsfolk or brimming with sorcery or life. Mostly just talking to what would be the enemies of the game such as Goldarmors and some other curiousities.

I got the Will Skull which should help keep Specty's will to carry on the fight. It's simply that important. I also threw some money to get Manny to offer his interesting cloaks, seemingly more useful compared to Shovel Knight's or Plague Knight's armor/cloaks.

Now for some off-topic details. I'm glad to have this recording setup, actually. Using Open Broadcast Streamer this time, with a recording format of MKV, QuickSync H.264 encoder, and a bitrate of 2500, all at 720p@48FPS, I've been able to pull off these recordings of Shovel Knight at 513MBs for the last part and 143MBs for this one. At such relatively small sizes, the quality of the encoding is decent and respectable. Granted it's not 1080p, but least I can still do 720p without issue compared to before. Unfortunately, this encoding starts to break apart with Touhou as the action results in very JPG-like compression at parts. And with Hyperdimension Neptunia, the recording is full of frame skips so it isn't pleasant to watch either. On the contrary, a typical Extra Stage such as Suwako's takes about 700MBs at 480p@60FPS with Game Bar, and the Double Dealing Character Normal clear comes at 8GBs for 720p@60FPS. It wasn't pleasant to upload at all.
