Spectral vs Generation (PS2)
40Although Spectral vs Generation was released as a heavily obscure release under Midas Interactive's budget games series, this 2D fighter is supposedly good stuff.
While I do admit Spectral vs is bloody brilliant stuff given the standard price tag of budget games like it I wouldn't say it compares to some of the more popular 2D fighters it is up against. It might be a little harsh to compare this one to Capcom's various Street Fighter and Darkstalker releases but amongst the niche market I still can't see it comparing to anything by Arc Systems or Sunsoft.
Regardless I'm sure fighing fans will be pleasantly surprised by Spectral Vs Generation despite my jaded perspective. Play it, tell me what you think. I bought my copy for £1 used so I'm sure it isn't too expensive elsewhere either.
