Since Halloween is drawing in I figured it would only make more sense to upload some horror orientated video games.

I don't really need to explain either House of the Dead game included in this package. They're both amazing games and I think House of the Dead 3 especially has stood the test of time. The collection itself I must add though leaves a little more to be desired. Both versions are rather direct ports of the PC editions of 2&3 and the only addtional bonuses included from these are the tutorial videos and bonus round. That said, I still think they look and play great on Nintendo Wii. The Wiimote is a no brainer replacement for the lightgun and with the zapper it feels as authentic as you'd expect.

A number of reviewers mentioned also that there is some, implied, frequent slowdown in both ports. To be honest, I've rarely seen the frame-rate drop at all in either games and on the extremely rare occasion it has, the slowdown has only occurred during a cut-scene. Don't let that from stopping you getting this compilation.

I must note though that the lack of House of the Dead 1 is disappointing - though given the PC port barely lives up to that of the Model 2 arcade itself, I suppose Sega didn't want to spend any additional development costs on something specific like that.

Anyway, go give this a shot if you're anxious. If you're a fan, you're certain to like it.
