Max Payne (PS2)
Better known as that third person shooter that brought bullet time into video games. I don't really know what I can add to that. Max Payne is another one of those games that can't be served justice in a paragraph and has to be experienced to get the best of.
This Playstation 2 port however is a more interesting affair. Released several months later it altered the game to work on a console, so gone are the quick saving features and the like that aren't possible on a memory card and levels are similarly split out normally between four or five a chapter.
All things considered, Rockstar did their best maintaining the core premise of Max Payne on Playstation 2 but it has degraded visuals and a slower frame-rate for the most part, not to mention, pretty atrocious load times. If you're after a better alternative to the PC Max Payne, I suggest you go with the Xbox port instead.
