Spiced Maple Bacon Latte - December Coffee of the Month from Nancy Drew's Mystery of the Seven Keys
18Merry early Christmas to all of you! Let's kick off a year of sometimes questionable but hopefully always delicious coffees of the month from Mystery of the Seven Keys with a delicious bacony latte that it's a pity Hotchkiss wasn't nearby to enjoy.
December Coffee of the Month
Maple Bacon Latte
Double shot of Espresso
2/3 cup Milk
2 tsp. Vanilla syrup
1 slice Bacon
Dash of cinnamon
1-2 tsp. Maple Syrup
Cook the bacon with a dash of cinnamon until fully done.
Drain and crumble into bits. Steam the milk together with
the vanilla syrup and beat it to a foam. Pour the espresso
into your cup and add in the foamed milk. Top with the
spiced bacon bits and drizzle with the maple syrup before
serving.
Vanilla Coffee Syrup
1/3 cup Sugar
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
½ cup Water
1½ tsp. Vanilla extract
Bring the sugars and water to a simmer over medium heat.
Continue to cook until the sugar is fully dissolved, then stir in the vanilla and remove from heat.
