Splatoon 3: Being bad as a crab in Salmon Run [41-37-47, 35/717]
1Good hustle down to the shore, everyone! Now it's a race to splat the Big Shot, for our badges. I think we share the splat, which is nice, and we eventually get back to dunk the eggs shot from the cannon. I miss a Maws up a Fish Finger, and roll with it to pop down to splat a Stinger, splatting the Maws there too. There's a cannon to shoot all the eggs to the basket, and always a chance another Big Shot will appear. There one is! Another splat, but still no silver badge. Never mind. Eggs are shot to the basket, and there are even squidmates there to dunk them. We get a good total for the wave.
The tide comes in a little for the second wave, so there are walls to ink. Or maybe it's not as necessary, not with Mudmouths. A gold Mudmouth is a little tricky, with all the Cohocks it spits out, but its proximity to the basket is appreciated. The next gold one is further, but not by much, and the Cohocks really don't seem that bad compared to all the spoony little Smallfry being spewed out from the other side. One more Mudmouth splatted, and we have another decent egg tally.
Back to low tidefor the final wave, and I have the N-ZAP again. That'll do. This time, it's foggy. I bring a Scrapper close to the basket, and a Steelhead inksplodes nicely. One Goldie is splatted a little far from the basket, and the other that is lured right next to it only drops one egg. That's a shame. I try to move to the Stinger, but a squidmate's B-bomb splats it before I get close. That's fine, and I think about using my Crab to make a difference, only to jump in to it at the worst possible moment. I still need to work out how to use that thing better. I'm revived and help cram last-second eggs in to the basket, before using my second Crab just to walk around a bit. It's still practice. Woomy!
