This stage is a bit of a bear, I'm finding out. The pinch points are pretty tight, and it's difficult to get out of it without anyone spotting and stopping you. Still, it's gotta work for you when defending, right?
Right. I stick to our turf, at least early on, defending the signal from Vanilla's approach, with the help of my new Octobrush squidmate friend. Looking back the other way, and we have a Splatterscope being threatened, and I'm happy to lend a hand there. I even drop them a Bubbler or two to keep them a bit safer. I don't think I really need it as the defender.
One Vanilla attacker gets past, with some good coordination, but I can turn around and stop them, and we stop their super-jumping squidmate too. The central turf is pretty safe, so I look back to the Splatterscope. They're being hassled, and I help how I can, but I can't hold off a Kraken.
In amongst the confusion, including getting some gaming juice, the Vanilla team grab the Signal, which is unfortunate, but by focussing on the Vanilla turf we can hold off the Sprinkler. It's fairly comfortable in the end, although the final Vanilla Inkstrike was perhaps a little mis-timed. Woomy!
