Me and my new Octobrush friend are doing pretty well in the Tricolour battles, and we're having fun together. I don't always contribute much to the splatting, Wahoo being better at it than me, but I do throw myself at the Signal with some abandon. I stop an early Vanilla attempt, which is a little counter-productive, but I'm greedy for the full victory.
My first attempt on the Signal nearly works nicely, my Bubbler keeping me just on the edge, confounding the Inkbrush almost long enough, but I am stopped. Time to build up more Special charge, but that's not helped being hit by the Flingza Roller. I stand back a little more next, inking turf to get a Bubbler, and although targeted by a Killer Wail piercing the Bubbler, I hold on to the Signal just long enough to secure it. Nice!
The Sprinkler starts tipping the battle in our favour, but we can do more. If I can avoid the Flingza Roller. My squidmate is doing better than me in not getting splatted, and in getting splats. They even make enough space to grab the Signal and hold on to it. Now we have both Sprinklers! It's with under thirty seconds to go, but those thirty seconds are all we need. I use my Bubbler for some protection and ink what I can, pushing forwards to secure distant turf, and it's enough to secure us the victory! Woomy!
