This stage forces you to get through it on a single supply of ink, and this ink can't be refilled.

Some puzzles will make you figure out how to do the most actions with the least amount of ink, such as figuring out how to hit all Ink Switches with one shot, or using a Balloon Fish to take out a whole group of enemies.

Always take the time to ink as much of an Alterna island as possible. You'll excavate for a lot of goodies this way, especially if your Smallfry can smell them from the ground.
