Splatoon 3 - Welcome to Bonerattle Arena
You may have noticed that on February 29th, 2024, I put up two videos at once. It’s not because it’s Leap Day; it was accidental. The F-Zero 99 video “White Wind” was meant for Friday. I hadn’t intended to put this up, but I might as well do it now: this is the final Salmon Run stage for Splatoon 3, Bonerattle Arena, and this is how I’ll kick off Fresh Season 2024.
Stage: Bonerattle Arena
Weapons: N-ZAP ’85, Douser Dualies FF, Dread Wringer, Classic Squiffer
King Salmonid: Megalodontia
Splatoon 2’s final Salmon Run stage, Ruins of Ark Polaris, was one big hint as to the story for Splatoon 3, namely “Rise of the Mammalians.” I wonder if Bonerattle Arena will be a hint as to Splatoon 4. Me, I’d like to see the Salmonids become the common enemies of the single-player mode, and we’d learn mroe about Salmonid motives and leadership. Bonerattle Arena appears to be a location built specifically to challenge Inklings and Octolings, and while this WAS the first time we fought Salmonids here, I do anticipate it being a struggle later on, for the Salmonids’ amusement.
(Hopefully I can complete this desctiption!
