A video of me photographing the Tom & Jer... I mean, Shou Toramaru and Nazrin.
Shou and Nazrin (rejected #45 by Hanna-Barbera when casting for Tom and Jerry) are the Scene 7 bosses of the game Double Spoiler, the 12.5th installment of the Touhou Project and sequel to Shoot the Bullet. The Touhou Project is a danmaku shooter series composed by the Composer, ZUN. And this is definitely not a reference to The World Ends with You (I'm saving that for another video)
First of all, let me start by saying that I'm relatively glad with how the fan has overall treated Nazrin, given her more of a Deadpan Snarker personality. I was afraid she would be Momizified and led to be a cute, moeblob slave to Shou, which brings me to the other point: her relationship with Shou.
Nazrin, strictly hierarchically speaking, is servant to Shou, since the latter is the worldly representation of the god the former serves. However, I feel a lot of people forget one little, teensy fact: Once upon a time, Nazrin was the one in charge of making sure Shou didn't mess up (and probably still is, but not officially). Back when Shou was recommended by Byakuren to serve as Bishamonten avatar, Bishamonten assigned Nazrin to keep an eye on Shou and see how she performed her duties. That means that originally, Nazrin was Shou's superior. I'm not sure when the roles switched, but every time I read a doujin, I get this feeling that Nazrin has always been Shou's worker. Probably the comparison to Ran and Chen doesn't help one bit.
Anyways, as you can expect, this scene is clustered with lasers, and more importantly, of the curvy kind. Nazrin's scenes are a haven compared to Shou's. Hell, Shou's single non-lasery spell is harder than most of the things later on. Enjoy Nazrin's spells while you can. This is the first scenario where I did not complete all the scenes before moving on to other opponents.
For the song: Originally there was going to be two songs, one arrangement of "The Tiger-Patterned Bishamonten" and, obviously, the obligatory "A Tiny, Tiny, Clever Commander". However, during the editing, I realized it would be hard to put Tiny Commander full without extending the video or not doing justice at all to Shou's theme. But more than that, I truly didn't liked Shou's theme to start, the arrange I mean. Many of Bishamonten's vocals arranges start the same and the mood and quality of the elected song contrasted heavily with that of Tiny Commander, which is done by Liz Triangle, so obviously it will contrast heavily. Yes, another song of Liz Triangle featuring lily-an. Told you this was going to happen. But don't worry, if my calculations are correct and if I don't find new arrangements I haven't heard by Liz Triangle, there's only one more scene that will feature this circle. I think most of you will have a pretty damn good guess of which scene I'm talking about.

-There's a picture, a crossover between Fate/Stay and Touhou, where Shou is Taiga and Nazrin is Illyasvel. Damn it, I wanted Flan to be Illyasvel ;_;
