This is an exemple of a glitch that I like to call ''Hit Cooldown Cancel'' (or ''HCC''). Essentially, when you use an attack that deals continuous damage every frame (such as Lightning Bolt) while using another attack that deals fixed damage per hit AND with an hitbox that doesn't disappear on hit (such as lvl 3 or Max Venom), you can cancel the cooldown of the fixed damage per hit attack. Normally, Venom has some cooldown before it can hit the same enemy again when it stays in its hitbox, and you get like, idk, maybe 5-6 hits per enemy with it? But here, when you use Lightning Bolt, as long as the enemy stays in the Venom hitbox, Lightning Bolt will hit on one frame, which will cancel the cooldown of Venom, which will then hit for full damage on the next frame, then Lightning Bolt will hit on the next frame, then Venom, then Lightning Bolt and so on, which means that, basically, Venom will hit for FULL DAMAGE (unless the enemy has a resistance to the element) every 2 RENDERED FRAMES as long as the enemy stays in the hitbox (yes, that means it would deal less damage at 30fps than 60fps. Here, because I'm recording on a kinda old laptop, I'm not at full 60fps in game while recording, maybe 45fps or something, and I'm recording at 30fps).

Additionally, during a slowdown such as the elemental mask removal cutscene with the Elites, the attacks are slowed down but not the damage or cooldown, which means that the hitbox will stay active longer and you'll deal even more damage quickly.

On Spyro's side, this glitch could also work with Dragon Fire, but it doesn't lock enemies in place like Lightning Bolt. On Cynder's side, it works with Lvl 3/Max Venom, all levels of Shadow Strike, all levels of Siren Scream and Terrador's Punishment. It probably works with some other attacks but it's not really worth it when you have those.
