Star Trek: Elite Force II w/ 3D spatial sound 🎧 (OpenAL Soft HRTF audio)

This is Star Trek: Elite Force II with OpenAL Soft's HRTF (IRC_1037 tables) through DSOAL. It uses a slightly different iteration of IDTech 3 than the first game, so the 3D positional audio engine is different. To be frank, it's a lot worse and the bad sound mixing and loud reverb (I had to set boost=-12 in alsoft.ini to try to match hardware) don't help. Stationary ambient sounds like the rain at the beginning are easy to pinpoint, but enemies aren't. What's even weirder is that this IDTech 3 fork uses Miles Sound System and MSS games usually sound even better with DSOAL.
Elite Forces II was a real pain to record. Like Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, it will not record in fullscreen with OBS Studio. However, trying to record windowed mode makes the mouse input uncontrollable. I had to use Bandicam in order to record this footage and I was lucky to beat the level in under 10 minutes. Elite Forces II is a lot slower than the first game and the default FOV (which can't be modified in this demo version) does not help at all.
