Renegade Racers with 3D spatial sound 🎧 (OpenAL Soft HRTF audio)

This is Renegade Racers with OpenAL Soft's HRTF (IRC_1037 tables) through DSOAL. Never heard of it? I don't blame you. Renegade Racers is the type of game that only exists for people like Lazy Game Reviews to cover as B-roll footage. It's kind of like Diddy Kong Racing, except it's just Shitty Kong Racing. The handling is ridiculously forgiving even for a children's racing game. Seriously, normal turning is like drifting in a Mario Kart title.
Renegade Racers has support for DirectSound3D, and the binaural audio gained with DSOAL is actually very good. You'll clearly hear enemies as if they're right behind you. It's more than I can say for the FlatOut games, at least. What Renegade Racers doesn't support, however, is Operating Systems past Windows 2000. This game is so broken that even with dgVoodoo2, you can only get one lap in before the game just crashes consistently. That's why I had to record three different takes and poorly stitch them together.
