MMOs are intrinsically slow-paced affairs with large-scale environments, tons of quest and at the very least opportunities (if not outright requirements) for grinding. With that in mind, SWTOR's pacing has been surprisingly good so far since the game always seems capable of introducing new gameplay mechanics and even entire planets just when the current tasks and locations are starting to feel stale and repetitive.

For me playing as a Jedi Knight, the first big change was moving from the starting backwater planet of Tython to (an admittedly not so bustling) metropolis on Coruscant. And now, after having finished the particular story quest shown in this video, the game really opened up by giving me my very own ship as well as access to a decidedly Mass Effectian galaxy map on which to choose from exciting travel destinations far, far away...
