Stardew Valley 146 :: Adding More Crystalariums
4Sundays are always a busy day for us as the kegs in the big shed are done processing! Today we also add a lot more crystalariums to the other big shed, boosting our production of jade! In the evening, we trade away all our jade gemstones for staircases at the desert trader!
As usual, we start off the day at the furnace area! After handling the crab pots and the furnaces, we go back indoors to see what's on the television. Leah gives us a spice berry that she had planted somewhere! I'm really not sure where her plants are coming from but we still appreciate them!
Using the mini-obelisk, we teleport to the far west of the farm to access our shed of kegs! We collect our bottles of starfruit wine and dump coffee beans into the kegs. All this work just to fuel our player character's caffeine addiction!
After planting some beets, we go up to the mountains to see how our island boy Leo is doing. Well, it seems he may actually be on the island itself since he is not in the treehouse! Anyway, we head back to our farm to craft crystalariums.
Using up almost all our gold bars, we craft 32 more magical crystal-generating machines! Ever since update 1.4, it has been so profitable to duplicate jade in a crystalarium as they can be exchanged for staircases with the desert trader. Next, we go into the greenhouse to harvest some fruits!
We stop by our shed of kegs for a brief moment. However, it is already noon so we decide to handle the animals first! If it is too late in the day, our animals will return indoors to sleep and we will no longer have the ability to interact with them! We notice our pumpkins are done but we leave them aside for now.
Picking up jars of honey from the beehives, we return to the shed to brew another batch of aromatic coffee. Ahh, just smelling the roasting beans already makes our player feel much more alive! Perhaps we need to see Dr Harvey before Maxan's addiction to coffee gets out of hand! Okay, that would probably not help much since Harvey loves the stuff as well.
We place down the crystalariums in the other shed before riding our horse over to Pierre's! We barely make it in time to purchase seeds before his shop closes. Back at the farm, we pick up our jade crystals from the storage chests and trade them for staircases at the desert trader! 500 staircases should be more than enough for a few Skull Cavern trips!
Before we forget, we fill the kegs with starfruit so that next Sunday we will have a fresh batch of starfruit wine again. Afterwards, we finally get to harvesting our crops! While picking the grapes, we are careful not to touch the pumpkins as we did not purchase any pumpkin seeds.
We harvest and replant our artichokes, then pick up some animal products from the Auto-Grabbers to store in our chests. It is already midnight! Still, for maximum efficiency we head to the mines at 1 am. We are rewarded with a nice big cluster of 6 gold ore nodes! Eventually, we return to the farm and store our items before sleeping for the night.
