There are still some loose ends to tie up before we move on from the road! Some of the embankments holding the road are still exposed so we cover them up with grass to hide it. Also, we finally cover up our underground storage room so that it is not visible from the surface!

Some pillagers decide to visit us! Bad idea, as we trick them to take out their leader. After collecting our ominous banner, we walk back to the road and commence construction for the day. We place down some grass blocks to mark out the edge of the road and complete the path!

We place a few blocks of grass here and there to smoothen out the curves of the land. Seems like the trees we planted yesterday have grown! One spruce tree looks a little small, but we are just glad it did not encroach on the road. Anyway, we can always chop it down and grow more trees to our liking!

At the 90-degree bend of the road, where the road turns around the base of Netherman Mountain, the spruce planks supporting the road are still exposed! We want to raise the landscape to cover this up, but first we mine some exposed coal ore. We do not have enough stone to fill up the hole, so we fly along the road to look for places where we can mine stone!

We decide to smoothen the edge of a small pond and gather stone in the process. Once we have enough, we fly back to fill in the landscape and hide the foundation of planks. It is getting dark so we lay down our white bed and sleep for the night.

In the morning, we fly up to visit our peaceful netherrack-holding Enderman and look at the road from above! Netherman Mountain, a name that I had just invented a few sentences ago, is probably a good name for this peak! However, from the top of the mountain we can't really see the area of land that we had worked on so we glide down to a shorter hill on the opposite side of the road.

While walking towards the strip of grass that marks the site of the future bridge, we hear a zombie in the caves beneath! We decide to dig down and light up those noisy caves once and for all. We emerge from a cave entrance quite near to where we were originally, but also quite well hidden beneath an overhang! At last, we should not hear any more mob noises while travelling along the road.

We fly back to the mountain base and clear our inventory of blocks. Since the chests we use to store dirt and grass are right beside the exposed section of our underground storage room, we decide to use these materials and finally cover up the storage room from the surface!

We soon run out of stone, but we have more than enough grass blocks to cover the room! Heading into the very same storage room, we store away a few miscellaneous items and pick up more stone to cover up the room. That is, after we do a little trading with our villagers!

Once we have covered up the storage room, the terrain of the mountain biome looks immaculate! It took almost an entire Minecraft day to do so but we are very happy with the result. Also, the reason why it took so long is because we kept getting distracted, going off to trade with our villagers and even picking up a bee's nest from a nearby oak tree!

We fly around to inspect the progress of our road so far. Past the bridge, there is still a good amount of distance to cover before the road would reach the spawn point! It might be even more difficult to build this section of the road since the terrain is highly mountainous.

A wandering trader visits us back at the mountain base! We buy some pretty coral blocks, sleep for the night and then end the episode. Wonder what we should do tomorrow? I feel that road construction is starting to get boring!
